Are you ENOUGH?

I don’t know about you, but I seem to, all-too-frequently, get pulled into that black hole of feeling that I’m not DOING enough.

You know… Not spending enough time with my kids and family; not getting enough done at work or having enough success in my business; not doing enough around the house; not working out enough; not meditating enough; not seeing friends enough; not doing the things I REALLY want to do enough, like travel; not accomplishing enough in my life…

Or worse, I get stuck into the rut of that stinkin’ thinkin’I’M not ______ (fill in the blank) enough.” ( The list is long, so I’ll spare you the details.)

The thing is, my NOT-ENOUGHs can drain me, because there’s just no end to them!

There’s always more I could be doing, and the list just keeps growing.

But where is this coming from?  And how do I STOP these NOT-ENOUGHs from dragging me down?

So your teen wants to go vegetarian? Here are 4 ways you can guide them…

If you’re the parent of a teen, it’s likely that food and/or nutrition have been issues at some point.

The need for your teen to assert themselves as individuals, mixed with food aversions, as well as an increased awareness of where their food comes from, how it got to the table, and what effect it has on their bodies…

Well, all that can make for, at the very least, colorful conversations, or at worst, ugly confrontations at the dinner table.

Morning workouts rock!! Here’s my take on it…

Yes, I’m an early riser.

Just me admitting that, might be annoying to you.  Sorry…

But there’s just something I find so uplifting and peaceful about morning.

And to be honest,  I actually find it pretty cool knowing that I’m up while most of the world is still soundly sleeping.

In addition to the cool factor, I also find that early morning is the best time for my brain and body.

When I was in university, cramming for exams, I’d be in bed at 9pm and up at 4am to get in those last couple of hours of studying.  Yes, I was weird that way, but early morning study was always much more more focused for me.

I’ve also gotten some of my best and most creative writing done between the hours of 3 and 6 am.

And most notably, when I work out in the morning, I have more energy and enthusiasm for the rest of my day than when I don’t.

Now, aside from the energy and enthusiasm I just mentioned, getting your workout done first thing in the morning, gives you no need for excuses at the end of the day.

Spend your summer with me!

What a week!

It’s been super busy, but a really GOOD BUSY, if you know what I mean.

In my business, each time the season changes is my busy time.

So now that we’re heading into summer, some things are ending, while other things are just kicking off.

And one of the biggest things I’m kicking off this summer is a 12-week Online Health Coaching Experience , beginning June 1st.

I created this experience for 2 reasons:

1. To give you a taste of the benefits that coaching can give you without having to break the bank.

2. To get you to see and feel in your own body, that in a short amount of time, with the help of some accountability and consistency, you can create amazing changes.

And I think summer is the perfect time to get this done.  WHY?

5 Ways to Streamline Your Waistline (… after 39)

Getting older is tough…

But I’ve decided not to buy into the hype.

In fact, I’ve put a moratorium on blaming things on my age.

The thing is, I left 39 in the dust five years ago, and I feel stronger and more confident now than I ever have… probably in my whole life.

But despite that, I do have a family history of colon cancer.

As you may already know, my mom died of the disease when she was only 57.

So, a few weeks ago I went for my very first colonoscopy.

Do you feel disconnected from your body? Here are 4 ways to reconnect…

When I tried Yoga for the first time about 10 years ago, I realized there was a real disconnect between my mind and my body.

The teacher would say “downward dog”, and then show us her “downward dog”.  Then I’d do my version of “downward dog”, which I was convinced looked just like hers.

Nope.  I was WRONG.
