What is a HEALTHY meal?

“Eat healthy.”

We hear it, and maybe even say it, a lot.

But when it comes to meals, what exactly is HEALTHY?

HEALTHY can mean all kinds of things to all kinds of people.

And if you ask 100 people, you’ll get 100 different answers.

But, as I hear this question a lot, I’m giving you my favorite version of what I believe to be a HEALTHY meal.

And it’s not about WHAT or HOW MUCH to eat.

Creating powerful affirmations

It was Louise Hay that first introduced me to affirmations.

(Although it may also have been Stuart Smalley on SNL, but I digress.)

You can check out her many books of affirmations on Amazon or the Hay House website.

I’ve known about affirmations for years.

I’ve read about them, heard about them, even wrote some of them out, but never really applied them as a significant tool for change in my life.

So, obviously I wasn’t really convinced they would work.

But about a month ago, I was inspired to try them again.

How to get up off the couch

Many times the problem isn’t choosing what to do.

The problem is choosing to do anything at all.

It feels like you’re stuck on the couch.

It’s not true of course, you’re free to get up and move.

But what’s happening is you’re feeling a complete lack of motivation, inspiration, desire,…

It feels like all emotion has left your body, and all you feel is empty and numb.

And part of you wants to feel numb.

It seems easier than doing something, and feeling something.

Numb feels neutral.

Except it’s not.
