Are you over 40 and navigating perimenopause, menopause, hormone changes, weight gain, low energy, and the emotional shifts of midlife?
I’m Debbie Harbec, a certified menopause coach, and I created this show to deliver practical, evidence-based tips and conversations to help you feel strong, clear-headed, confident, and back in control of your body and life.
Each episode breaks down what you need to know and what actually works in midlife, including: Menopause and perimenopause symptoms (fatigue, brain fog, sleep, mood); Hormones, metabolism, and midlife weight loss; Strength, movement, and fitness after 40; Stress, anxiety, and mindset shifts in midlife; Identity changes, confidence, and personal reinvention.
You’ll hear expert interviews with doctors and specialists, honest coaching conversations, and real-life strategies you can use immediately,,, without extreme diets, burnout workouts, or misinformation.
If you’re tired of feeling stuck in your body, confused by conflicting menopause advice, or frustrated that what used to work no longer does, Midlife Momentum will help you build strength, energy, and momentum – one smart step at a time.
🎧 New episodes weekly for women ready to feel healthy, fit, and fabulous in midlife.

So it’s happening…
Next week, I’m having hip replacement surgery.
Even typing that feels surreal.
Over the last few years, so many people have asked me questions about this decision.
Questions like…
- What does hip arthritis actually feel like?
- How did this even happen?
- Aren’t you too young for this surgery?
- Did you try everything else first?
- How do you know when it’s really time?
- Will I be able to exercise again… or even run?
So this week on the podcast, I’m answering all of it.
I’m sharing my full story, from the sharp pain I first felt on a run nearly four years ago, to the X-ray that showed severe arthritis, to everything I’ve tried since then to avoid surgery.
This episode is about much more than a hip replacement.
It’s about learning to listen to your body, it’s about making hard decisions, and it’s about choosing long-term quality of life over just pushing through.
If you’ve ever ignored what your body was trying to tell you, I think this conversation will resonate.
Keep moving forward (without so much pain),
Debbie
